The free version of Ice Fishing Derby: Its a five day fishing derby with a twist. The forecast for the first day is pretty nice, but its going to get much, much colder as the days go by. Start each day at the bait shop to get the tackle you need. Catch bluegills, crappie, perch, walleyes and northern pike. At the end of each day youll collect cash at the weigh-in for the fish youve caught. Be sure to earn enough to pay for a portable shelter and heater or youre not likely to survive. Start with some basic gear and catch some panfish, then work your way up to catching the bigger fish. Once you have the necessities you might get yourself a sonar flasher or even an underwater camera system so you can see whats happening under the ice. Your goal is simple: Survive the tournament, and earn as much money as possible. Other fishermen may offer you some interesting trades out on the lake, but be careful what deals you accept!
The game is free but in-app purchases unlock a few items in the bait shop and give you the option of starting each tournament with more money.

Game is decent but needs a little updating. It opened fine for me never had a crash problem. Just needs more content! Different places to fish, different fish, maybe add in reeling in the fish like in other fishing games. Allow people to warm up by moving from spot to spot as well in case they run out of coco. Maybe add a career mode or something like that to where you compete against other computer anglers or even online. Throw in a few updates and you will have a 5 star game!
Awesome game but should you add reusable hooks like a spoons and ad more stuff like wood stoves and bigger fish and make it so you can make deals

Awesome game! Really good but there should be an update so you can see the fish you catch like on the ice next to you.
Some bad moments
You always freeze to death before the 5th day ( last day ) of tournament, its a trick to get you to buy items to keep you playing.
All my friends have the game and they say its good so i got it and, I cant get it to work on my iPod. I hope to see a fix to the game so that i can play.
This game works on all my buddys phone but not my iphone 4 fix it and I will buy the whole game thanks
Played the game on one of my friends phone and is a great game but then 3 of my friends and i tried playing and doesnt work on our phones and iPods
After I updated to iOS 8.1.2 it works great. Had trouble with iOS version 8.0.
This is a very fun and entertaining game..pretty addicting too. In my opinion, anyone with a love for fishing will love this game! It is very much like going out doing some real ice fishing! Where I live weve had a couple years of sub-par winters that havent made strong enough ice to do any ice fishing. So Ive really been itching to get back out and do some ice fishing. Although its not real and Im not actually ice fishing, this has to be the next best thing to doing the real thing! It certainly has helped me scratch that itch. The game runs great and without any problems on the iOS 8.1.2 update!!
